A busy month ahead … we’re looking forward to lively discussion at the “Extractive Industry Geology” conference, where David will present some of our recent work in validation and calculation of spatial errors in photogrammetry (both terrestrial and UAV-based) and other geospatial methods (“An overview of geospatial methods for data acquisition and analysis: Useful insights exist beyond the hype”).

We’ll be sharing a platform with Airbus, Boeing, Northern Powergrid, Arup, and others when Max profiles our use of the Global Navigation Satellite System for continuous high-precision monitoring of critical infrastructure at the “Emerging Tech in Aerospace Ecosystems” workshop.

Max will also be in action this week at the 10thCities on Volcanoes” conference in Naples, where he’ll be demonstrating the value of low-cost GNSS as a tool for near real-time monitoring of volcanic surface deformation using bespoke geodetic networks.
